Herbert Yuen served as VP and Managing Director for the Pacific Asia Region of the MSA Safety Company from 2010 to 2015. Responsible for China, South East Asia, Japan and S. Korea, Herbert led the growth of both revenue and operating margin 20% per year to its leadership position as a top safety equipment and solutions provider in China and South East Asia.
Immediately before MSA, Herbert was an entrepreneur, as a co-founding member and Executive VP of a California-based new energy company which develops metal fuel cells for electric vehicles. While working for IBM Hong Kong in a sales role, Herbert served a few major customers in Hong Kong such as HSBC and Standard & Chartered Bank and has consistently over-achieved his annual quota.
